PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for executing a multi-radio wireless network. SOLUTION: The method has a step of receiving a total average data rate from each of a plurality of first-type wireless components 250. Each total average data rate is based on an average data rate for each of a first plurality of a second-type wireless components 240 coupled to the respective first-type wireless component. The method also has a step of determining at least one channel parameter in the plurality of the first-type wireless components on the basis a ratio of the total average data rate associated with the respective first wireless component to the total average data rate associated with the plurality of the first-type wireless components, and a step of allocating a channel to the first wireless component on the basis of the determined at least one channel parameter.
