<p>A 4 cycle engine includes a case (1) which is comprised of a first case half (3) and a second case half (8) which are connected at a parting plane with each other, the parting plane goes through the centerline of the crankshaft and is perpendicular to the centerline of the cylinder (7), a first bearing seat (19) and a second bearing seat (20) are respectively divided into a first upper bearing seat half (4), a second upper bearing seat half (5), a first lower bearing seat half (9) and a second lower bearing seat half (10) at the parting plane, the first upper bearing seat half (4), the second upper bearing seat half (5), the first lower bearing seat half (9) and the second lower bearing seat half (10) are integratedly molded on the first case half (3) and the second case half (8), respectively, the side cover (21) and the outer side surface of the first case half (3) define the valve-operating chamber (26) which receives the valve-operating mechanism (30).</p> |
