PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking material for securely protecting a portion to be masked from a surface treatment.SOLUTION: Masking materials, 12A and 12B, are used for protecting 3A, a portion to be masked on a surface of an article which should not be surface-treated, from the surface treatment. Each of the masking materials is formed in a shape in conformance with a shape of 3A, the portion to be masked, by using as a material a laminated sheet comprising: a top surface layer 121 made of a hard resin; and a back surface layer 122 made of a soft resin, which comes in contact with 3A, the portion to be masked. The top surface layer 121 made of a hard resin stabilizes a molded shape, and the back surface layer 122 made of a soft resin sticks firmly to 3A, the portion to be masked, when adhered to 3A, the portion to be masked, to prevent 3A, the portion to be masked, from being surface treated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
