PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type writing instrument having a simple mechanism for achieving a stable scratch operation or the like.SOLUTION: A knock type writing instrument 1 comprises: a barrel 4; an operation part 30; and a rotor 40, in which a writing state and a non-writing state can be switched, by performing a knock operation for forward pressing of the operation part 30. The writing instrument further comprises a knock lock member 50 capable of moving in a cross direction in the barrel by gravity force, and an engagement part 60 disposed on an inner face of the barrel 4 and capable of engaging to the knock lock member 50. When a front end of the barrel 4 is directed upward, the knock lock member 50 moves rearward and engages to the engagement part 60, and forward movement of the operation part 30 is inhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
