PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of as quickly as possible and cost efficiently adapting to customer's individual requirements.SOLUTION: A camera system for a vehicle comprises: an objective lens 2; a first printed circuit board 5 provided with an image sensor 4; and one or more additional printed circuit boards 7, 11, the first printed circuit board and each of the one or more additional printed circuit board comprises at least one connection unit 6 adapted for electrically connecting the printed circuit boards to each other in a modular exchangeable manner for adapting the range of functions of the camera system according to the predetermined basic function. The at least one connection unit comprises a plurality of groups of electrical connections, the first printed circuit board can be connected to the at least one additional printed circuit board through the plurality of groups of electrical connections for providing the predetermined basic functions for the camera system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
