PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can stably convey a roll body after it is inserted to a storage chamber while improving the operability of insertion of the roll body to the storage chamber.SOLUTION: A printer 1 in which a storage chamber SP storing a roll body RP obtained by winding a belt-like printing medium into a roll-shape is formed, includes a pair of support parts 6, 6' supporting the side parts of the roll body from both sides in the storage chamber. Each of the pair of support parts includes: a first member which is formed with a hole, constituted so as to be rotatable in the rotation direction of the roll body, and supports the side surface of the roll body; and a second member which protrudes from the hole of the first member to the inner side of the storage chamber, whose movement of the rotation direction is restricted, and which pivotally supports the roll body. The surface of the second member brought into contact with the roll body when the roll body is inserted to the storage chamber is an inclined surface inclined in the direction of insertion of the roll body to the storage chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
