<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device with a low recording paper stacker. <P>SOLUTION: An upper cover 2 and a recording paper stacker 1 are arranged as different members. An upper surface of the upper cover and an upper surface of the recording paper stacker are arranged on an approximate same horizontal surface adjacent to a carrier direction of recording paper. The recording paper stacker is attached to a document setting board 3, and the document setting board is attached to a body 6 of the image recording device so as to be able to rotate up to a position of uprising. A handle 2a is provided to a side adjacent to the recording paper stacker in the upper cover, and a concave portion 1b is provided to a side adjacent to the upper cover in the recording paper stacker corresponding to the handle.
