PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair load support structure capable of securely attaching, in a small area, an attachment member for supporting a load support member such as a lumbar support even when a member forming an outer shape of a backrest is thinned, and to provide a chair.SOLUTION: The chair load support structure includes: an outer frame formation member (back receiving support body 7) formed along an outer shape of a load receiving face; and a load receiving face constitution member attached on the outer frame formation member and forming a sub load receiving face generally parallel to the load receiving face. A support member 26 supports the load receiving face constitution member on the outer frame formation member and includes a first fastening member (support member body 27) and a second fastening member (holding member 29) fastened with each other by using a fastening tool (fastening screw 31). The first and second fastening members are attached on a support member attachment part of the outer frame formation member by fastening of the fastening tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
