<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which excels in coloring properties, causes little ground fogging of an undeveloped part (unused part) in relation to dry heat and wet heat and excels in the shelf stability of a colored image. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material wherein a thermal coloring layer containing a normally colorless or light-colored coloring compound and a developing compound capable of developing the color of the coloring compound in heating is provided on a substrate, the thermal coloring layer contains any of compounds expressed by formulas (1), (2), (3) and (4) as the developing compound and 4,4'-methylene-bis(2,6-dimethylphenol). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
