<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for applying a liquid agent containing optical catalyst fine particles, which is excellent in coating performance, and an applicator bottle. <P>SOLUTION: The material for applying a hydrophilic coating solution for glass containing the optical catalyst fine particles, a binder constituent, a catalyst and solvent comprises a felt, and a nonwoven cloth covering the surface of the felt or a fiber having water absorbing property.
