Provided is a group management device for elevators which is capable of achieving efficient traffic in a whole building. The group management device for elevators is equipped with: a call registration recognition unit (5b) which recognizes a registered landing destination call; an arrival time calculation unit (5c) which calculates the time required for each of a plurality of cars to be managed to reach a destination floor corresponding to the landing destination call if the landing destination call is allocated to each of the plurality of cars to be managed when the landing destination call is recognized by the call registration recognition unit (5b); a traffic condition detection unit (5d) which detects the traffic condition of transportation means other than the plurality of cars to be managed; and an allocation prohibition unit (5f) which prohibits the allocation of the landing destination call to the plurality of cars to be managed, if the time calculated for the plurality of cars to be managed by the arrival time calculation unit (5c) exceeds a preset time and the traffic condition of the transportation means detected by the traffic condition detection unit (5d) is uncrowded. |
