PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables quicker and simpler measurement of indoxylsulfuric acid in body fluid.SOLUTION: A method of measuring indoxylsulfuric acid using a measurement sample of body fluid involves measuring concentration of indoxylsulfuric acid in the measurement sample using, as an indicator, fluorescence intensity of the measurement sample observed when an excitation wavelength in a range of 260-300 nm is selected and an emission wavelength that is greater than the selected excitation wavelength by 10-250 nm is used.
