PURIFICATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE

A carbon dioxide purification method is provided to refine carbon dioxide by separating the expanded impure carbon dioxide liquid in a material transferring and separating column system. A carbon dioxide purification method comprises the steps of: generating impure carbon dioxide gas produced by compressing the impure carbon dioxide gas; generating impure carbon dioxide liquid by condensing at least some of the compressed impure carbon dioxide gas; generating the expanded impure carbon dioxide liquid by expanding at least some of the impure carbon dioxide liquid; and generating first pollutant concentrated top steam and carbon dioxide concentrated bottom liquid by separating at least some of the expanded impure liquid carbon dioxide in a material transferring and separating column system(C104).
