Thus in the mixing and agitation of a small amount of fluid, necessary acceleration can be obtained even in a short time.

A driving apparatus for an analyzing apparatus comprising a rotational drive section having a first drive part for rotating a set analyzing device, a second drive part selectively engaged with the first drive part to reciprocate the analyzing device, and a third drive part for relatively moving the first drive part and the second drive part to a position where the first and second drive parts are engaged with each other and a position where the first and second drive parts are not engaged with each other, the driving apparatus further comprising: a swinging frequency detector configured to detect a swinging frequency of the first drive part; a controller configured to output a set voltage value to the second drive part, the set voltage value being necessary for swinging the analyzing device; and memory configured to store a table that expresses a relationship between the set voltage value and the swinging frequency, wherein the controller is configured to run a learning routine, the learning routine comprising: reading the table stored in the memory;outputting a set voltage value to the second drive part;reading a detected value of the swinging frequency that is detected by the swinging frequency detector, andupdating the table so as to reduce difference between the detected value and a corresponding value of the swinging frequency that corresponds to the set voltage value in the table before updated,wherein the updating process in the learning routine includes:determining a shift amount of swinging frequency based on a difference between the detected value and the corresponding value of the swinging frequency;calculating a voltage adjustment based on the set voltage value, the shift amount of swing frequency and a relationship between the set voltage value and the corresponding value of the swinging frequency in the table; andrewriting the set voltage value in the table based on the voltage adjustment such that a further detected value corresponding to the updated set voltage value comes closer to the corresponding value of the swing frequency.
