TOTAL MILEAGE TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF TIRE SENSOR BASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid system for tracking total mileage of a tire which has high reliability and has durability.SOLUTION: A tire tracking system for tracking travel mileage experienced by a vehicle tire includes: a vehicle 10 supported by the vehicle tire 12; an identification transponder 14 which produces identification information characteristic to the tire and is fixed to the tire; a vehicle-based system which produces a synchronous stream of an estimation value of an incremental vehicle travel distance; a time stamp synchronization and travel distance estimator 24 which estimates a synchronization stream of an estimation value of a tire additional travel distance on the basis of the stream of the estimation value of incremental vehicle travel distance; and a mobile network 32 for uploading the estimation value of the tire additional travel distance and the identification information characteristic to the tire to a remote server 34. The remote server 34 operatively aggregates a total tire distance from the estimation value of the uploaded tire additional travel distance in a form accessible with the identification information characteristic to the tire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
