PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter hub, a connection structure, and a pressure proof inspection device capable of reducing the possibility of generating shavings or fragments due to abrasion in performing pressure proof inspection of a catheter, and performing connection while keeping airtightness with the catheter.SOLUTION: A pressure proof inspection device includes a catheter hub holding part for detachably holding a catheter hub, a connector connected to the catheter hub so as to receive its proximal side capable of injecting fluid into a lumen part of a catheter, and a connector holding part for closely connecting the connector and the catheter hub by holding the catheter hub to which the connector is connected, with the catheter hub holding part. An annular sealing face formed in a step part provided over the whole circumference of the outer periphery of the catheter hub, and a sealing face of the connector provided so as to correspond to the above sealing face are brought into contact with each other when holding the catheter hub to which the connector is connected by the catheter hub holding part and the connector holding part, thereby sealing the two sealing faces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
