A method, an apparatus, and a system for providing an advertisement service on digital broadcasting in a portable terminal are provided to purchase paid broadcasting on the digital broadcasting and reproduce advertisement broadcasting while a user waits for authentication for the purchase of the paid broadcasting, thereby enabling the user to get rid of boredom and increasing a use of the portable terminal. A portable terminal transmits a purchase message to a billing server(S301). The portable terminal reproduces advertisement(S303). The billing server records purchase information according to the purchase message(S305). The billing server transmits the purchase information including a smart card number to an EMM(Entitled Management Message) server(S307). The EMM server makes EMM based on the smart card number(S309). The EMM server transmits the EMM to a broadcasting provider server(S311). The broadcasting provider server transmits the EMM to the portable terminal(S313). The portable terminal receives the EMM and stops advertisement broadcasting(S315).
