<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of steadily performing rapid power reduction of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel cell 30 connected to a commercial power source 99, a reformer 20 equipped with a combustion section 23 for receiving anode off-gas (p) and combustion air (a) and burning thereof to generate reforming heat, a power regulating means 34 for regulating electric power generated by the fuel cell 30, and a control device 36. The control device 36 controls the power generation adjusting means 34 to rapidly reduce power generation of the fuel cell 30 keeping the ratio of the quantity of combustion air (a) supplied to the combustion section 23 to the quantity of combustible components in the anode off-gas (p) supplied to the combustion section 23 within a prescribed ratio range when the electric power consumed by an electric power load 98 rapidly drops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
