A strut (2) or support, especially for a roll damper in the wheel suspension of a vehicle, has at least one transverse hole (3, 4) for a bolt (21) for fitment to an attachment device (16). In order to achieve a large contact area for at least one elastic element, the transverse hole (3, 4) contains at least one insert sleeve (5, 6) which, for its part, partially contains the elastic element (11). In the assembled state, the elastic element (11) is pressed by means of at least one clamping bush (20) and the bolt (21) against the inner wall of the insert sleeve (5, 6). A part of the insert sleeve and the elastic element (11) provided therein are conical on the sides which are in contact with one another. <IMAGE> |
