COMMON VOLTAGE GENERATING CIRCUIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY COMPRISING THE SAME

A circuit for generating common voltages and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device including the same are provided to prevent stain patterns after blocking supply voltages by rapidly discharging the common voltages using a capacitor. A circuit for generating common voltages includes a source common voltage generating unit(710), a buffer unit(510), and a discharge unit(720). The source common voltage generating unit divides a driving voltage which is inputted through an input node, and outputs a source common voltage. The buffer unit receives the source common voltage, buffers the received source common voltage, and outputs a common voltage through an output node. The discharge unit grounds the output node when a source voltage is blocked.
