PURPOSE:To improve rigidity against a reaction force exerted on rear wheels when the reaction force is exerted on the rear wheels in a steering position. CONSTITUTION:A four-wheel steering device for a vehicle comprises a hydraulic power steering device for front wheels, by which front wheels 1 are steered, and a hydraulic power steering device for rear wheel by which rear wheels 6 are steered. The four-wheel steering device is provided with a first hydraulic cylinder 22 through which a piston 25 is moved during steering of front wheels and which exerts pressure energy on oil and a second hydraulic cylinder 43 by which a piston 42 is moved by means of pressure energy of oil to operate a power steering device for rear wheels. The one side oil chamber 22a of the first hydraulic cylinder 22 and the one side oil chamber 43a of the second hydraulic cylinder 43, and the outer oil chamber 22b of the first hydraulic cylinder 22 and the other oil chamber 43b of the second hydraulic cylinder 43 are mutually intercommunicated through oil passages 47 and 48, respectively. |
