PURPOSE:To provide a recorder using thermo-chromic film without an erase head thereby lowering cost, by controlling the heating temperature of a recording means via the selection of two levels of temperatures; recording and erasing temperatures. CONSTITUTION:In order to write image information to a TC film, a thermal head 21 makes required bits ON state and heats a portion of the TC film 11 to the recording temperature in accordance with the ON bits. When not recording, i.e., in a rest time, the TC film 11 is heated to the erasing temperature and is fed by making the thermal head ON state in overall width thereof. As a result, the TC film 11 becomes opaque or transparent in overall width, thus erasing the image information recorded thereon. |
