PURPOSE:To provide the optical disk original disk exposing device which always stably performs exposure to produce an optical disk original disk of good quality by using an independent light source only for correction or the variance of the quantity of light to correct the variance of the quantity of light brought about at the time of deflection and modulation. CONSTITUTION:An exposure beam (a) emitted from a laser light source 1 is so modulated by a light quantity modulator 2 that it becomes a prescribed quantity of light, and this exposure beam (a) which has the quantity of light modulated is subjected to pulse modulation by a pulse modulator 3. This exposure beam (a) converted to pulses is deflected by a deflector 6 and is condensed by an objective lens 10 and is thrown to an optical disk original disk 11 to form pits. A light source 18 for correction of the quantity of light which emits a light quantity correcting beam (b) is arranged on the optical path in the preceding stage of the deflector 6, and a light quantity variance correcting means 23 is provided which detects the emitted light quantity correcting beam (b) to correct the variance of the quantity of light due to deflection and modulation. |
