PURPOSE:To not apply an excessive load to a user by constituting the massage machine so that a control operation by a control mechanism can be operated only to therapeutic pieces being in the course of massage operation. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary shaft 12 is rotated around an auxiliary shaft 13 through a gas spring 16 and a rotary plate 15 by rotating a feed screw 25 by a motor, an arm 4 and an outer ring 3 rotate around an inner ring 2, the protruding amount of therapeutic pieces 5 is varied and a strong massage and a weak massage can be executed selectively. The strong/weak control by rotating the feed screw 25, and the interval control of the therapeutic pieces 5 by rotating a screw shaft 14 cannot both be operated as a single operation, and one of a main shaft 1 or the rotary shaft 12 always rotates together therewith. This control is executed by controlling an electromagnetic clutch. At the time of executing the strong/weak control and the interval control, since a rubbing massage or a tapping massage is always executed, it does not occur that the therapeutic pieces are strengthened to a dangerous state.
