PURPOSE:To prevent the simultaneous engagement of two transmission torque variable displacement couplings and make a hydraulic system compact by providing differential mechanism and driving force transmission control mechanism between two rotating shafts of a vehicle, and providing two pistons for adjusting the engaged state of these two couplings. CONSTITUTION:A driving force adjusting device for a vehicle is provided with an input shaft 1B distributed on the rear wheel side out of engine output, differential mechanism 4 provided in such a way as to connect a left wheel side output shaft 2 to a right wheel side output shaft 3 so as to transmit the driving force of the input shaft 1B to the rotating shafts 2, 3 while allowing the differential transmission, and a driving force transmission control mechanism 5 for adjusting the distribution of the driving force. The driving force transmission control mechanism 5 is provided with mutually adjacent integrated first and second transmission torque variable displacement couplings 7, 8, and a first and a second pistons 7C, 8C for adjusting the engaged state of these couplings 7C, 8C are provided opposedly to each other. Linkage structure 21 is provided between the pistons 7C, 8C so as to release the pressing of the second piston 8C at the pressing time the first piston 7C and to act inversely at the pressing time of second piston.
