PURPOSE: To provide a cordless communication equipment capable of preventing the charging deficiency of a battery while limiting charging current. CONSTITUTION: By controlling a charging base by the microprocessor 29 of a cordless communication equipment when a processing in which current consumption is preliminarily increased is generated and providing a function increasing current to be supplied from the charging base to the cordless communication equipment, overcharging is prevented and the protection such as overheating of the charging base is possible when a charging base terminal is shorted when the cordless communication equipment is placed on the charging base and also when charging is performed in a state that the main power source switch 27 of the cordless communication equipment is turned off. The generation of charging decifiency of a battery can be prevented in a state that the main power source switch 27 of the cordless communication equipment is turned on and even if normal operations such as the standby operation for an incoming detection and an incoming operation, etc., are frequently repeated. |
