PURPOSE: To facilitate file retrieving operation by performing the exclusive or backward sorting of file names on the basis of their commonalty, and then reflecting the mutual relativity and outputting the file names. CONSTITUTION: The sort processor is equipped with a read means 2 which reads out the names of stored files, a specifying means 4 which specifies a word, an exclusive sorting means 3 which sorts the file names read by the read means 2 by making the word specified by the specifying means 4, and output processing means 6 and 7 which outputs the sorting result of the exclusive sorting means 3 with the original file names read by the read means 2; while the specified word or phrase is excluded, the file names are compared and sorted, and the sorting result is outputted with the original file names. For the backward sorting, the file names read by the read means 2 are compared from the tail of the work order and sorted. |
