摘要 An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form a patterned spacer integrally in a location corresponding to an area generated by changing a shape of a color filter pattern of a green or blue sub pixel area among RGB sub pixel areas formed on an upper substrate, thereby preventing light leakage caused by ball spacers and rubbing. In a first substrate, plural first electrode units are formed. A second substrate(120) is disposed as facing the first substrate and comprises the following parts. A second electrode unit is arranged in a form orthogonal to the first electrode unit. A reflection film(121) is formed in a pattern shape having an opening on the second substrate so as to divide a sub pixel area(140), corresponding to an intersection point between the first and second electrode units, into a reflective area(142) and a transmissive area(144). RGB(Red, Green and Blue) color filters(124) are formed in a partial area on the reflection film and the transmissive area with respect to each sub pixel area. A black matrix(122) prevents light leakage between the color filters. An overcoat layer is formed on the color filter and the black matrix. Plural patterned spacers(130) maintain a cell gap between the first and second substrates. LC is formed between the first and second substrates. The patterned spacer is formed in a location corresponding to an area generated by changing a shape of a color filter pattern formed in a transmissive area of a sub pixel area of one color among RGB sub pixel areas configuring a unit pixel.
