<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple optical-axis photoelectric sensor in which using convenience can be improved by informing operation state of the multiple optical-axis photoelectric sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This is equipped with a control part 50 which outputs results of incident light distinguishing means 33 as safety control output at normal operation, which outputs safety control output of operation disapproval is output regardless of the results of the incident light distinguishing means 33 at abnormal time in which abnormal state is detected by detecting means 34A to 34C, and which outputs safety control output of operation approval regardless of the results of the incident light distinguishing means 33 in special function operation, and operation state informing means 53 which distinguishes either of normal operation state, abnormal state, or special function operation state, and which informs the operation state of the distinguished operation state to external with the same output wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
