The arrangement has at least one shaped part (6) on the periphery of the clutch plate (2) that generates electrical signals when passing a sensor (7) as the clutch plate rotates. The generated signals are dependent on the axial position of the clutch plate in the engaged state. An evaluation device computes the axial position from the signal times and hence the wear.
