The engine has a fixed housing (10) with a central divisible rotor (18) with two pistons (1), connected via main and auxiliary connecting rods (6,6') to crankshaft and reversing gear. The gear has a transmission ratio of angular crankshaft speed/ angular rotor speed of 3 (two pairs of toothed gears and one intermediate gear. Two press fits on the piston pin are positioned precisely above the crank arms. The pistons move on an r/l-dependent hypocycloidal path for complete gas power, inertia forces, and mass inertia compensation.
