<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and device for preferably manufacturing an interior member of a vehicle with a fabric cover enabling improvement in feeling for quality by making textures of the fabric covers consistent and cost reduction for manufacturing or the like by steamlining works for applying the fabric covers. SOLUTION: A protruding portion of a manufacturing device is protruded for a required length via a slit 15 formed between a main body 11 and door portion 12. Then, a fabric cover is applied. A connected portion 23 of the fabric cover is formed so as to protrude along the slit 15 between a first fabric cover portion 21 applied on an outer surface portion 13 of the main body 11 and a second fabric cover portion 22 applied on an outer surface portion 14 of the door portion 12. Then, boundary end portions of the first and second fabric cover portions 21,22 are preferably attached to each other by inserting the connected portion 23 of the fabric cover to the back side of the main body 11 via the slit 15 by means of an insertion tool.</p> |
