PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand impact wrench capable of measuring a screw rotation angle with necessary and sufficient precision even if a hand shake occurs to some degree. SOLUTION: The hand impact wrench which is so composed that a rotary member repeats the operation of applying a driving force on the side of a driven shaft after free running is provided with the first detecting means 71a, 81a, 81b which detect the information as to the rotation of the rotary member, the second detecting means 72, 82a, 82b which detect the information as to the rotation of the driven shaft, and a measuring means 13 which measures the rotation angle of the driven shaft with a hand shake angle subtracted on the basis of the information as to the rotation of the rotary member detected by the first detecting means, and the information as to the rotation of the driven shaft detected by the second detecting means.
