PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner container holding unit which can be used for containers with different height without the trouble of changing a pressing member because it can change the length of its pressing member according to the height of a container. SOLUTION: A container placed on a container table 13 is pressed from upside by a cylindrical pressing member 29 and held. Compressed air is blown into the container by an air pipe 19 penetrating the inside of the pressing member 29, and a foreign material in the container is exhausted through a hollow part in the pressing member 29. This pressing member 29 consists of a first cylindrical member 31 which contacts the container and a second cylindrical member 32 arranged at upper side than the member 31, and one of these members can be fit into another member. Also, this air cleaner holding unit has a securing means to secure the first cylindrical member 31 and the second cylindrical member 32 at an arbitrary fitting length.
