PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern coating method which can form a pattern on a surface of a resin base material without necessitating a special device, even if a single pattern formation material is used. SOLUTION: In the pattern coating method, a conductive primer is coated in the shape of a patter on a resin base material 8, and then a base coat layer 6, which covers the whole resin base material, is formed on the prime coated surface. The conductive primer layer 7 is grounded and an electrified pattern formation material 9 is given in the state of un-hardening. Then, a density difference of the pattern formation material, which corresponds to the existence of the conductive primer layer 7 due to a surface resistance difference between the conductive primer layer 7 and the base coat layer 6, is created. By this density difference, the pattern is formed by creating a thickness and thinness, and an unevenness, to the pattern formation material even if the single pattern formation material is used.
