<p>Surfaces of the holding region (32) near the holder openings (30) have high electrical conductivity. In contact with air, there is no tendency to produce an electrically-insulating passivation layer. The surfaces are connected to an electrical reference potential, especially at earth potential. The body of the holding region has a coating conferring the cited properties. The body is made of plastic, aluminum and/or an aluminum alloy. At least near the openings, nickel is applied by chemical or electrochemical means. It is plasma-coated or plated. An incubator (28) surrounds the sample holding unit.</p> |
