PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, a base plate of which has enough strength and which is formed integrally with a flange part and an installation leg, the flange part being continuous. SOLUTION: This outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes the base plate 1 integrated with an installation leg 6 fixed to an applied part. The base plate 1 includes the flange part 5 bent upward along the peripheral edge of the base plate 1, and the flange part 5 is formed continuous in the whole periphery of the base plate 1. The installation leg 6 includes a support part 6a connected to the flange part 5 and a fixed part 6b fixed directly to the applied part, and the leg is formed by bending a part extended from the flange part 5.
