PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a cruising distance by a power-supply battery. SOLUTION: Two power supply packs 120A, 120B outputs information about voltage, an electric current, remaining capacity and the like from a controlling terminal, and a microcomputers 133A, 133B grasp the information. The microcomputers 133A, 133B monitor battery remaining capacity of the power-supply packs 120A, 120B on the basis of the information from the power-supply packs 120A, 120B. Either one of the power supply-packs is selected as in use, and the other is selected as in stand-by. The first power-supply pack is used for a power source of each portion of the electric assisting bicycle. When the remaining capacity of the power-supply pack in use is lowered till a specified value predetermined in advance, the first power-supply pack is switched to the second power-supply pack, and monitoring of the remaining capacity is continued by using the second power-supply pack.
