<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and reliable rib structure capable of easily and surely monitoring the soundness of structure for an aircraft or artificial sattelite, and a method for producing it. <P>SOLUTION: In the process of laminating a tape-like pregreg composed of a reinforcing fiber impregnated with a resin in a grating shape to form a plurality of ribs 2, an optical fiber 3 including Bragg Grating structures (FBG sensor 4) for the optical fiber 3 is lined in a predetermined position.
