<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a billiards game apparatus which increases the reality of play of a billiards game and can have a feeling of regulating the direction of a simulated cue at will when a player strikes the simulated cue. <P>SOLUTION: In a display device 9 which has a screen 9a to display a game image, operating means 32, 36, 40, 41, 44, 45 for entering an operation of a player to produce an operation signal, and a billiards game apparatus which plays a billiards game in three-dimensional virtual space responding to the operation signal, a simulated bridge 11 with a cue supporting roller 32 which supports a simulated cue 19 to be movable backward and forward is prepared on a simulated billiards table 7. The simulated bridge 11 is movable from front to back and from side to side. The travel distance from front to back and from side to side of the simulated bridge 11 is detected by simulated bridge travel distance detecting means 44, 45.
