PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having the dry and the wet performance compatibly. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has a tread part made of a rubber compound containing (A) 30-90 parts conjugate diene series rubber consisting of 40-95% 1,3-butadiene unit and 5-60% aromatic group vinyl monomer unit and having a Tg of -35°C or more, (B) 10-70 parts NR, BR, and/or SBR other than the mentioned conjugate diene series rubber, and (C) 10-110 parts silica, or (A') 30-90 parts conjugate diene series rubber consisting of 30-94.9% 1,3-butadiene unit, 0.1-10% isoprene unit, and 5-60% aromatic vinyl monomer unit, (B') 10-70 parts NR, BR, and/or SBR other than the rubber (A'), and (C) 10-110 parts silica, wherein the groove area ratio of the tread part is 25-34%.
