PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of mitigating the change in performance caused by the wear of the tire in an early service stage. SOLUTION: A first shallow groove 26 and a second shallow groove 27 capable of absorbing water generated between the tire and the road surface and removing or reducing water film are formed on a tread of a block 20. The first shallow groove 26 and the second shallow groove 27 are formed in a straight shape along the tire circumferential direction S, and the depth of the second shallow groove 27 is larger than the depth of the first shallow groove 26.
