PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for a vehicle for detecting that a run-flat tire is exchanged with a normal tire. SOLUTION: A pneumatic sensor and a transmitter are provided to a plurality of wheels 2FL-2RR mounted to a vehicle 1. A transmitter 6 fetches detection outputs of the pneumatic sensor via antennas 5FL-5RR and outputs them to a tire discrimination ECU 7. The tire discrimination ECU 7 judges which is mounted to the respective wheels, the run-flat tire or the normal tire based on an amount of variation of the pneumatic pressure of the wheels 2FL-2RR. Such judgment can be performed by comparing an amount of variation of the pneumatic pressure of the wheels 2FL-2RR with a standard variation amount of the pneumatic pressure of the run-flat tire, or comparing the amounts of variation of the pneumatic pressures of the respective wheels 2FL-2RR.
