PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spot welding apparatus which can spot-weld a plurality of positions including a bottom surface portion and a vertical wall portion of a workpiece to be welded without increasing the size, a cost, and a floor space, and without being restricted by the position of the spot welding. SOLUTION: The spot welding apparatus 1 welds the workpiece to be welded by facing electrode tips 13, 17 (18) respectively provided on a pair of gun arms 3, 4 each other, and by supplying an electric current while gripping the workpiece to be welded between both electrode tips 13, 17 (18) by means of a gun pressing mechanism 2. Two electrode tips 17, 18 are attached to the one movable gun arm 4 in the different directions respectively. In addition, the movable gun arm 4 is swivelably supported with respect to the other fixed gun arm 3.
