PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control device capable of restraining slapping sound by detecting generation of the slapping sound at high precision. SOLUTION: This braking force control device 1 to control braking force by a disc brake is furnished with a slapping sound information detection means 11 to detect information concerning the slapping sound on the disc brake and a slapping sound determination means 31a to determine existence of generation of the slapping sound in accordance with the information concerning the slapping sound detected by the hammering sound information detection means 11 and characteristically carries out braking control to restrain the slapping sound in determining by the slapping sound determination means 31a that the slapping sound is generated.
