PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage device for a floor cleaner, which is capable of draining collected liquid to a target position without dirtying the hands of a worker in performing a drainage work. SOLUTION: The drainage device for the floor cleaner 10 includes: a collection liquid tank 16 for collecting and storing cleaning liquid; and a drainage hose 22 connected to the collection liquid tank 16 so as to drain the collected liquid 21 stored in the tank 16 to an external part. A disk shape shielding board 24 is integrally arranged inside the drain outlet 23 of the drainage hose 22 so as to be turned around a shaft 25. A handle 26 is fixed to a projecting part 25a toward the external part of the drain outlet in the spindle 25, so as to allow the grip part 26c of the handle 26 to be directed toward the end of the drain outlet 23. A stopper 27 is arranged for restricting rotation in a direction (clockwise rotation in Fig. 2) being the same as the inclination direction F of the shielding board 24 with the shaft 25 as a center in draining the liquid by the drainage hose 22. The shielding board 24 is opened by inclining the drainage hose 22 downward from a horizontal state, while holding the grip part 26c of the handle 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
