PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an external display monitoring method and a program in the information processor surely preventing personal information from being displayed on an external display device when the content displayed on the display device of the information processor is simultaneously displayed on the external display device. SOLUTION: The information processor comprising a window memory storing window data, a display device, and an external interface for displaying the same content as that on the display device on the external display device is provide with: a window monitoring table wherein a text relating to personal information defining the screen not to be displayed on the external display device is registered; a monitoring section monitoring whether the text registered in the window monitoring table is contained in the data in the window memory; and a control section which, when it is detected that the registered text is contained, turns off the switch connecting the output of the screen to the display device to the external interface by its detection output.
