An air conditioner is provided to ensure the reliability of a temperature sensor by preventing a temperature sensor from being abnormally assembled. An air conditioner comprises a temperature sensor(10), and a body cabinet(2) having a mounting unit(50). The temperature sensor detects the temperature of external air. The body cabinet is formed with an intake port through which the external air is introduced. The temperature sensor is slidably inserted into the mounting unit. The mounting unit includes a guide(52), a support(54) and a blocking unit(56). The guide has opening into which the temperature sensor is inserted at one side thereof, and guides sliding movement of the temperature sensor. The support extends from the guide to support the temperature sensor guided by the guide. The blocking unit is provided between the support and the guide to prevent the temperature sensor from being separated from the support.
