<p>A method for searching for a valve of a multi-air conditioner is provided to improve the product reliability by reducing an abnormal operation of a multi-air conditioner through increase in the accuracy of matching between a main valve and an indoor unit. A method for searching for a valve of a multi-air conditioner comprises the steps of operating a plurality of indoor units in a cooling mode(S210), allowing only one of the indoor units to maintain the cooling mode by controlling a main valve which selectively prevents refrigerant from being supplied to the indoor units from a distributor(S240), searching for an indoor unit that maintains a difference between the temperature of indoor air and the temperature of the refrigerant for a predetermined time(S270), and allowing the searched indoor unit to mate with the main valve(S290).</p> |
