<p>A method and a system for an alternating channel delta quantizer for 2x2 MIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output) pre-coders having finite rate channel state information feedback are provided to execute the first quantization to quantize a change of channel state information onto the first codebook through a cost function, to execute the second quantization to quantize a change of channel state information onto the second codebook through the cost function, and to repeat the first quantization and the second quantization alternately. A 2x2 MIMO pre-coding system for processing communication signals comprises one or more circuits to carry out the first quantization to quantize a change of channel state information onto the first codebook through a cost function and the second quantization to quantize a change of channel state information onto the second codebook through the cost function. One or more circuits in the 2x2 MIMO pre-coding system alternately repeat the first quantization and the second quantization. In this case, each of the codebooks comprises one or more unitary matrices, and the channel state information is a matrix created through singular value decomposition or geometric mean decomposition.</p> |
